Pelitravel is a family business, started in 1989 as Pelican Travel and based in southern California.  Our operations were moved to Brookings, Oregon in 2004. 

 

In over 25 years of serving missionaries, we have learned the value of ‘hands-on’ travel planning.  Every mission trip is different...requiring both professional expertise and the proper tools/technology in order to achieve the best possible results. 

 

Our agency specializes in one thing: international air travel.  Because we do not offer cruises, tours, and other travel products, we are able to deliver the best possible service to match your air travel needs.  We have worked diligently for decades, developing relationships with airlines in order that our clients may benefit from our experience and ticketing contracts that offer the best possible rates and terms.

 

Our creed is summed up by the words of Christ, “do to others as you would have them do to you” (Luke 6:31).  Our regular clients can attest to our efforts to ‘go the extra mile’ when needed.  We often tell customers, your ticket purchase doesn’t end when you buy the ticket, it doesn’t end when you board the plane, and it doesn’t end when you get home.  It ends when your baggage returns home!

 

Personally, we are a Christian home-schooling family of six, we love what the Lord has done for us, and we believe we are called to assist His people to fulfill the mission that God has for them.
